1. Something a Little Different ~ Freebies
Some things are free - some aren't.
*Lunch (sorry, no free lunch; unless you come to my house)
*Air (except outside public buildings where smokers congregate & toxicate)
*Water (unless you must buy it; or are willing to pointlessly pay $1.95 for
a bottle)
*Friends (maybe not free because it costs a lot to keep them)
*Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control - no one will ever sue you for taking and keeping these.
*Gifts (as long as there are no strings attached). "Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light." (James 1: 17 The Message)
*Salvation (the truly free gift of God which in reality costs everything)
Be blessed this Christmas season and fully enjoy the free friendships that you already have - all made possible by the free Gift we celebrate. And may I add a word of caution? I'm going to anyway!
The Reason for the Season does not want you to go into debt - or further into debt - especially around the time that we are celebrating His birth.
Just stop it! :-)
Peter

3. Going Home & Coming Home
Going Home
Donna and I are going home; well, we're going to what was home for our 12 YWAM foundational years; we're off to Kona, Hawaii for three months to lead the All Nations-All Generations DTS starting January 3rd. We have a diverse and wonderful staff and student body from many nations and all generations that will be with us. (This ministry - YWAM Associates - will carry on as usual.)
My reason for mentioning this school is that we have a need: teachers for the Foundation School for the children of our staff and students. If you have:
*The qualifications
*A hankering for Kona during Jan-Mar (maybe even the outreach in April-May)
*And most importantly a word from God to pursue this opportunity . . . then

Coming Home
David & Dale Garratt (remember Scripture in Song?), are back with a new and unique album with songs of worshipful praise that will touch your innermost being.
The poignant title song "Coming Home" is for any prodigal out there; "Gentle Breeze" will sooth you with its island rhythms; and "Southern Cross" will touch the hearts of all from 'Down Under' and make the rest of us want to be there. There are other songs that give this very intimate album backed by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra - ministry to the heart.
Winkie Pratney (who by the way is recovering nicely from his medical emergency earlier this year), has this to say: "From the legendary David and Dale Garratt . . . we are offered a rich andrare work, timeless in truth, bearing a priceless gift from the legacy of what they have learned through song and suffering, beauty and brokenness, trial and triumph."
You can listen to the songs and purchase this remarkable CD (with anoptional book) at http://davidanddalegarratt.com/ Do it quickly for Christmas delivery!
4. Donna's Corner ~ Ending 2007, Looking Ahead
Dear Friends,
Our Heavenly Father loves us to ask Him questions with a pure heart motive; this morning I asked him this question: "As we get prepared to finish 2007 and begin a New Year, Father what is on your heart?"
This is what I heard Him saying by His Spirit and through the written Word.
Please read the written Word, it will become life to your spirit.
"It's a year of new beginnings for many and I'm getting people into place for what I am going to do; but every person must be seeking Me, not seeking position or man's approval; only Me. They must leave the hurts and disappointments from the past at the cross. I want to do a new thing in their lives. (Isaiah 43:18-19)
"Ask them to please take time with Me and hear what is on My heart. I love them so much - that's why I sent My son, to show each person how to live and how to die. Jesus is their model (Phil 2:1-8), and the Holy Spirit their mentor (John 16:12-15 & Romans 8:14-18).
"I love them, ask them to please trust Me and live for eternity, when they will see Me face to face, finishing the race and keeping their eyes on Me, not the circumstances (2 Tim 4:7-8). Whatever they do, do it as unto Me (Col 3:23-24). I‚m shaking everything that can be shaken and what is not of Me is coming down (Heb 12:25-29). I want to see My Kingdom, not man's
kingdom established. Ask them to please seek first My kingdom, My righteousness, and everything else will be given to them (Matt 6:19-34).
"What I say in My Word is true, and the truth will set them free (John 8:31-32&36). I love each person and created each one for relationship with Me. The righteous will live by faith not fear; without faith it‚s impossible to please Me. I love them."
May the Lord bless you abundantly this coming year. You, who have ears to hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying.
Love & Blessings,
Donna
