“Glória a Deus nas alturas!” Sort of, “Wow God!” (Actually, it means “Glory to God in the highest!”) This was part of the message delivered in Angelspeak to a bunch of shepherds near Bethlehem. We like to think that is a love letter rather than a newsletter (you won’t find much news, but love is in this package). Receive it at this special time of the year. They’re Always AroundHands up if you know what I’m talking about.A favourite nursery rhyme of mine goes like this:Christmas is coming the geese are getting fat,Please to put a penny in the old man's hat,If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do,If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless you!Apparently the old man was poor. Jesus said that we’d always have poor people around. Rather than throw a coin in a hat, would you pray about something that you could do for someone?Donna and I know quite a few YWAMers who have little or no regular financial support – period – at Christmas or any other time of the year. Yet they hang in, obeying God’s call. Some come from poorer nations, others from churches that have no vision for missions. Perhaps you know some folks with needs. Would you seriously ask the Lord if you are to reach out to them with some practical help? Then just do it.Mele Kalikimaka! Hawaii’s way to say, “Merry Christmas” to you.It takes a village to raise a childWe shouldn’t teach people what to think, but how to think. If you want to go fast, walk aloneIf you want to go far, walk with others HonorDear "Family" (those who do the Father's will),The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me much about us "honoring" one another. It means "to value” others. I encourage you to do a study on this, according to the Word.We are firstly to honor God, to be zealous for the honor of God, for who He is. He said if we honor Him, He will honor us. He also said, He would honor those who serve Jesus.God said we are to honor our parents and it will go well with us and we will enjoy long life. We honor them for bringing us into the world. We are to honor those who fear the Lord. The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. It's easy to honor those who fear God and walk in humility. We are to honor the elders among us especially those who teach and preach among us. (1Timothy 5:17-18)If we really fear the Lord we will honor those in authority. We are to honor our bodies. We are not our own, we were bought with a price. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Husbands are to honor their wife’s body and not use it for their own lust. (1Peter 2:17; 1Thess 4:4)We are to honor those who minister with us and among us, and be devoted to one another in brotherly love, honoring others above ourselves. Our attitude is to be the same as Christ Jesus. It's really all about our heart attitude isn't it? I've learned so much from our Indigenous brothers and sisters about honor and honoring. May this lost grace be restored to the church! My love and blessings to you during this Christmas season as we honor God for who He is; Jesus Christ for paying the price; and each other as we all are part of His family.
(If you don't know how to give honor, the Holy Spirit will teach you.)

- Some Greedy conGlomerates are luring us into buying things we don’t need and can’t afford.
- So let’s turn it all around and Give Generously to those who may be Genuinely Going without some of the Good things in this Glorious Season.
